Disabled MMA fighter Alexander Karapetyan beat two opponents in the cage in a two-on-one handicap match, taking down one with an incredible knockout.

The epic fighting championship in Russia is known for staging breathtaking fights with bizarre clashes. When the promotion’s second season began, it didn’t stray from its originality.

Alexander Karapetyan, a 29-year-old one-armed MMA fighter, fought two opponents in the cage at once and won. He got a quick knockout seconds into the match when he dropped the 21-year-old fighter “Lexus” with a kick to the body followed by a nasty kick to the head. The doctor entered the cage and concluded that ‘Lexus’ was unable to continue the fight.

Below is a video of the brief exchange from the fight, courtesy of Matysek on Twitter:

With his first opponent out, Karapetyan tried to end 34-year-old Sanya Shyp in the same way. Powerful kicks and punches from his right hand reigned over Shyp, but it wasn’t enough.

Shyp managed to dodge some strikes and land a few punches, but he failed to deliver any meaningful strikes in the game. This was proven when Karapetyan’s hand was up at the end of the fight, declaring him the winner.

Bizarre Russian MMA Fights

Russian MMA fighters are known for bringing intensity and forcing the best out of their opponents. Fighting championship promotions in Russia tend to hit the headlines when the unthinkable or the absolutely bizarre happens.

For example, fights at pre-fight press conferences and fights before the bell rings are just some of the craziest things that happen. With the Epic Fighting Championship growing in popularity due to its unique lineup of fighters, there doesn’t seem to be a decline in spontaneity.

Earlier in January, the EFC held a mixed event between an adult male star and a blogger. The match caused controversy, but he started anyway and delivered an unforgettable performance.

Below is a tweet from this EFC event:

The following month, a 75-year-old man and his 18-year-old grandson fought a 28-year-old woman in a 2-on-1 match:
