Huawei applies for V-Pencil brand in EU, possibly for Mate V foldable screen smartphone stylus

LetsGoDigital a reported that on October 4, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. has officially filed a trademark application for “Huawei V-Pencil” with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

Earlier it was reported by a Chinese blogger named “Juchang Yingye fans“That Huawei could launch a foldable screen smartphone called Huawei Mate V that has an upper and lower foldable display, primarily aimed at female consumers. Perhaps Huawei will launch its stylus products with the next generation of foldable display mobile phones.

As submitted by Huawei to EUIPO, the mark is classified as “new” and described as “electronic pen, computer stylus and touch screen stylus”. That is, Huawei is indeed developing a new type of stylus for touchscreen devices, which is not limited to Huawei’s foldable screen smartphones. Since its MateBook laptops also support touchscreen operation, the stylus can enable more precise operation of both series.

As for the Huawei Mate V, a blogger named “Digital discussion station”Reports that Huawei has a folding screen smartphone that has an upper and lower folding screen. This smartphone targets female consumers and is considered a high-end product with a “fairly good configuration”. So far, it is not known when it will be released to the market.

As various bloggers have reported, there are already rumors about Huawei’s new foldable screen smartphone, but the company has yet to give a formal answer.
